Two works bound in one volume.
The second Polish edition of The Communist Manifesto and the first Polish edition of Karl Marx's work on the Jewish question issued as the first and fourth volume of "The Political and Social Library of the socialist "PrzedSwit", published intermittently since 1881. From July 1891, the magazine began to be published in London and again it was suspended due to lack of funds in March 1892. The next issue was published in January 1893 with the subtitle Social and Economic Journal. Witold Jodko-Narkiewicz became the actual editor at that time, and it was printed by a printing house owned by Stanisław Mendelson. From issue 5 in 1893, the journal became formally an organ of the Foreign Union of Polish Socialists. From 1895, the editorial board of Kazimierz Kelles-Krauz and Romuald Mielczarski supervised the magazine, headed by Jodko-Narkiewicz. Leon Wasilewski took over the journal's reaction from 1897. In January 1899, at the 5th Congress of the ZPPS in Paris, it was decided to give "Daybreak" to the national PPS to you Thus, from 1900, the magazine became a monthly and an organ of the Polish Socialist Party.
The small format was to facilitate the smuggling and storage of publications. Both very rare prints!
