Zygmunt Szymanowski (born November 16, 1873 in Warsaw, died May 8, 1956 in Łódź) - Polish doctor and microbiologist, full professor, university lecturer, social activist, PPS activist, soldier of the Polish Legions, lieutenant-colonel-doctor of the Polish Army, four times decorated with the Cross of Valor , in People's Poland, a member of the National Council and the Legislative Sejm (1947–1952), a member of the Central Committee of the Polish United Workers' Party from its inception until his death.
