Frank Herbert - Dune Saga. A collection of books in leather binding

Those of you who regularly follow the new products on the shelves of our online antiquarian bookstore have already had the opportunity to see the series entitled "Dune" by Frank Herbert, bound in stylish leather covers.

Arrakis, also called Dune, is the only source of melange in the universe and the background of one of the best science fiction series in the history of literature. By order of the Padishah Emperor, the planet is taken over by the Atreides, fierce enemies of the Harkonnens who previously ruled it. However, the victory of Prince Leto Atreides is apparent - the takeover of the planet was planned. In response to the attack of the Empire and the Harkonnens, the heir of the Atreides family, Paul, becomes the leader of the native inhabitants of Dune and seizes the imperial throne. A stunning combination of adventure and mysticism, ecology and politics.

"Dune" received two of the most prestigious science fiction awards: Nebula and Hugo, and also had several film adaptations.

The set of 6 volumes was bound in the Bradel style. Bradel, where the covers and spine are not made of one piece of leather. Black leather spines with minimalist, gilded inscriptions. On the back cover you can see the figure of a retreating pilgrim. On the front face, a composition with gilding, embossing, inlays and hand-painted details. The front is inspired by the original publishing cover and closely corresponds to the content of the book.

Endpapers and fore edge are hand marbled. Please remember that two identical designs cannot be repeated, which makes each set unique and special.

Everything is enclosed in a protective box.
