After the huge success of subsequent computer games released by CD Projekt Red, the time of the Netflix production series has come, and although no one remembers when Sapkowski wrote his series of books, before or after the events described above [this is obviously a joke], faithful fans of Sapkowski's prose show their first editions of stories starring the village from the late 90's, some even have the number 12 of New Fantasy from December 1986, where Geralt of Rivia first appeared. Sapek, the pen master, and Geralt, the monster slayer, found themselves in the close circle of pop culture.
