In the break between the auction emotions, we present a praise in which we show the extraordinary beauty of the leather cover of the second edition [Warsaw 1956, Polskie Zakłady Wydawnictw Szkolnych, 310] of a work popularizing mathematics, entitled: "MATHEMATICAL KALEIDOSCOPE" by Hug Dyonizego Steinhaus (born 14). January 1887 in Jasło, died February 25, 1972 in Wrocław) - a Polish mathematician of Jewish origin, professor at the Jan Kazimierz University, co-founder of the Lviv school of mathematics, co-founder and editor of the journal Studia Mathematica; an aphorist.
Full leather cover in red. Convex ties on the spine, blind embossing and inscriptions embossed with black paint, a field with inscriptions underlined with a silver line. In the front face mirror, a three-color mosaic composed of triangles inscribed in a circle, a circle surrounded by a thick frame. The whole is complemented by geometrical inscriptions embossed with black paint and lines embossed in silver. The interiors of the covers are finished with a geometrical silver border
